Young man dies after being chased into sea by Nigerian police in Lagos

A young man has lost his life as he drowned after jumping in the sea following a chase by policemen in Lagos.

According to reports, the incident happened on the 27th of August when the police started a raid that prompted multiple young men to run as they said the police had been harassing them.

When the young man had fallen of the marina into the sea, the police had allegedly ordered them not to help him which led to his death.
