Nigerians turn Owambe party to celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s death [video]

Some Nigerians have reportedly celebrated the passing of British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II who died on September 8, 2022.

In a viral video making the rounds on various social media platforms, some Nigerians at a party were seen dancing exuberantly while the MC made mention of the queen’s name.

According to a Tweep who shared the video, the event apparently held same day the Queen passed away.

The party may have not specifically be in the commemoration of the Queen’s death, however, her name and that of her children were mentioned and praised.

The Queen passed away yesterday aged 96, leaving Prince Charles the heir to the throne. The Prince is said to have arrived in London at the moment.
