Rico Swavey: Lagos state government to Investigate Doren hospital over negligence

The Lagos state government has disclosed the commencement of a probe into Doren Hospital, the private health care center where BBNaija star Patrick Fakoya, aka Rico Swavey died over alleged unprofessionalism.

This was made known by the the Lagos state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, who reacted to putty by Nigerians over a trending clip that showed the moment nurses and attendants delayed while Rico needed lifesaving attention. He said;

“That hospital is not a government hospital. We have started an investigation into the unprofessional conducts of those who appeared in that video.” he said.

Recall that the hospital had come under fire after the clip leaked wherein Rico laid helplessly while attendants made videos.

One of the nurses was heard cautioning her colleague against the act.

“You people should stop making the video; somebody is dying, you people are making video,” the nurse said. The video received public condemnation.

Meanwhile BBNaija star Angel Smith has also shared her experience at the same Doren Hospital Ajah, affirming that they are unprofessional as depicted in the video.

She said;

”Gonna speak on this because when I was unconscious at home, my friend rushed me here and let me tell y’all something, it was terrible. Nobody should be going to Doren in Ajah.
My grandmother and mother bundled me to another hospital, 0/10 lmfaooo and they wanted my granny to sign that if anything happened to me, it was on us not them lmfaooo”
