“We were good for each other” – Last tweet of lady who committed suicide after boyfriend dumped her surfaces

The last tweet of a late young woman identified as Mary Fulu, who committed suicide after being dumped by her boyfriend has resurfaced to varying reactions.

The 24-year-old lady, who resides in Lilongwe, Malawi, was a student and an entrepreneur who hanged herself after her boyfriend left her for another woman. She died on November 2, 2022.

Spokesperson of Kanengo Police Station, Gresham Ngwira, confirmed the incident last week:

“The woman had been going to Bwaila Hospital for treatment and counselling. However, this morning she d!ed by su!cide. She silently went into the boys quarter and hanged herself”

Dockaysworld learnt that the boyfriend had impregnated his other girlfriend and had opted to continue that relationship instead.

“We were good for each other” was the last tweet of the young woman, indicating the motive of her suicide.

She also retweeted and liked tweets that spoke about depression.
