More Bags of rotten Naira notes uncovered as CBN set to begin circulation of New design [video]

A video trending online has shown the moment bags of rotting Naira notes were uncovered following the Central bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) recent unveiling of new designs for the currency.

This is coming as different stashes of notes have been getting steadily uncovered with the hoarders panicking to return or give out the old designs before it becomes useless.

Recall the CBN had announced that the new notes including the N200, N500 and N1000 would help curb counterfeiting amidst other benefits.

Following the unveiling by the president at the NEC meeting recently, Nigerians have reacted to the new design in numerous ways.

Recall, a self proclaimed expert had said the new policy would deal with the elites of the society and lead to circulation of cash.
