My wife and I have decided to end our marriage – Comedian Basketmouth reveals

Popular Nigerian comedian Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth, has announced the end of his marriage with wife Elsie Okpocha after twelve years.

The comedian took to his Instagram page to announce the spilt which he said was a decided after long deliberation between himself and his wife.

He asked for privacy from fans and followers as he promised to continue taking care of his kids with Elsie regardless of their situation as a couple.

Basket seemed to be reacting to reports circulating about the marriage as he captioned his post:

“For the first and the last time.”

He wrote:

As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation. After much deliberations, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need. We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times. Thank you.
