Imo Election: INEC Refutes Claims of Denying LP Candidate Access to Certified Documents

  • INEC explains reports of denying LP's Achonu access to certified election documents
  • The Commission said it is gathering the documents to estimate cost of payment to be made

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has clarified claims making rounds that it denied the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate, Athan Achonu access to true copies of the November 11 gubernatorial election in Imo state.

The commission disclosed this through its official X (formerly Twitter) handle earlier today.

INEC revealed that it is assembling all the documents to assess the payment cost.
