BREAKING: DG of NIMASA steps down

Bashir Jamoh, the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), has officially concluded his term.

Despite attempts to reach NIMASA’s Head of Media, Edward Osagie, for confirmation, no response was obtained.

A credible source within the agency, who wished to remain anonymous, affirmed that Jamoh’s tenure concluded on March 10, 2024.

It was disclosed that he handed over responsibilities to Chudi Ofordile, the Executive Director of Finance.

Jamoh had assumed the role of NIMASA DG on March 10, 2020, appointed by Former President Muhammadu Buhari, having previously served as the agency’s finance executive.
