BREAKING: Casualties as suspected herdsmen attack Benue community 

A community in Benue state Ugbobi has been attacked by assailants suspected to be herdsmen with many being killed.

An attack by suspected herdsmen on the Ugbobi community of Benue state, has left indigenes shaken, as many were reportedly killed and others injured. 

Daily Post reports that a native of the community Eric Amodu, lamented a lack of security presence despite the operation taking 2 hours. 

The community located in the Apa LGA of Benue State, saw dwellers begin to abandon their homes as the attack led to the destruction of houses with fire.
