Police arrests pastor Bolaji Idowu over alleged money laundering


Pastor Bolaji Idowu, leader of Harvesters International Christian Center, has been reportedly arrested by the Nigerian police over alleged real estate fraud and money laundering.

According to Sahara Reporters, he has now being moved to Abuja where he is currently being grilled by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID).

“The Next Level Prayer Conference, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, has been arrested by the police, and he is being grilled in Abuja over real estate fraud and money laundering,” a top police source told Sahara Reporters.

“He is at the FCID Abuja as we speak,” another source added.

Known for founding the church in 2003 and for his “Next Level Prayers” platform, Pastor Idowu has gained widespread recognition.

Harvesters Church, which claims over 70,000 worshippers across its physical and online congregations, has expanded internationally with locations in Nigeria, the UK, and the US.
