EFCC Makes Fresh Announcement On Tompolo After Viral Video

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced that Chief Government Ekpemupolo, better known as Tompolo, will have to answer questions about a viral video that allegedly shows him engaging in naira abuse.

The controversy erupted after the video, posted on X by Harrison A, also known as #harreceipts, went viral.

The footage was taken during Tompolo’s 54th birthday celebration in April and shows him dancing while a man lavishly sprayed N1,000 notes in his direction.

The video quickly sparked widespread outrage across social media, with many Nigerians urging the EFCC to take action against Tompolo, much like it has done with other individuals involved in similar misconduct.
