Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has departed Nigeria a few days after stepping down from his position.
He travelled alongside Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin to attend the burial of elder statesman and businessman, Aminu Dantata.
Their flight landed early Tuesday morning at an international airport, where they joined a delegation of top Nigerian politicians for the burial ceremony.
Dantata, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 94, is being laid to rest in line with Islamic rites.
Among those on the trip are Kano APC Chairman Prince Abdullahi Abbas, Senator Muntari Dandutse, Deputy Minority Leader Ali Madaki, Hon. Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari, Hon. Sani Bala, Usman Kansila, and the late Dantata’s son, Ahmad.
The burial is taking place outside Nigeria, attracting several dignitaries who came to pay their last respects.
