Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of petrol from N850 to N820 per litre starting August 12, 2025.
The refinery made this change to make fuel more affordable for Nigerians and to support the country’s economic progress.
This adjustment affects the ex-depot price, which is the price before additional distribution costs.
The refinery assured the public that it will continue to supply petroleum products steadily without interruption.
In addition to the price reduction, Dangote Petroleum Refinery is set to begin rolling out 4,000 trucks powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) starting August 15, 2025.
This move is aimed at improving fuel distribution across Nigeria and promoting cleaner energy use.
The refinery’s efforts are part of its broader plan to enhance operations while contributing to sustainable energy development in the country.
