The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of the 2025 admission exercise.
The exam body also released deadlines for all tertiary institutions to conclude their admission processes.
According to directives from the Minister of Education during the 2025 Policy Meeting, public universities are to complete all admissions by 31st October 2025, private universities by 30th November 2025, while all other institutions (public and private) must complete theirs by 31st December 2025.
Institutions have also been encouraged to finalise admissions well ahead of these deadlines to avoid delays.
In line with the exercise, candidates seeking admission are required to upload their O’level qualifications on the JAMB portal.
With the release of the 2025 WAEC SSCE results, candidates are urged to immediately upload their results.
Those awaiting their SSCE results will only be considered for admission once the results are released and uploaded.
JAMB stressed that no candidate will be processed for admission without the required O’level results uploaded on the portal.
