VeryDarkMan confronts kidnappers in Edo, rescues shot driver after attack [VIDEO]

Fearless activist VeryDarkMan reportedly encountered kidnappers while traveling in Edo State and rescued the driver that was shot by the kidnappers.

In a video currently circulating on social media, the activist was seen traveling in a convoy with others, including a patrol van acting as their escort.

The group reportedly ran into a crime scene where kidnappers had earlier blocked the road, abducted passengers from a bus, and shot the driver before escaping.

In the footage, a visibly agitated VeryDarkMan was heard shouting, “They don dey run away from kidnappers,” as his team advanced cautiously behind the patrol van. It was observed that road users in the area were too frightened to pass through after the gunmen fled.

The activist repeatedly shouted “No level” as their convoy drove past the scene, confirming that the kidnappers were no longer present. He later urged his driver to give chase, yelling “Charge am,” in a bid to pursue the fleeing gunmen, though they were not sighted.

Unable to locate the attackers, VeryDarkMan and his team circled back to the spot where they discovered the bus driver, who had been shot and left for dead.

Without hesitation, they carried the injured man into their car and rushed him to a nearby hospital in a desperate effort to save his life.

The incident has drawn widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians hailing VeryDarkMan’s bravery while others criticized the perceived lack of swift response from security operatives.

As of press time, Edo State police authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the matter.
