Popular Nigerian blogger and former singer, Tunde Ednut, has sparked fresh online reactions after making a remark about music star Wizkid in connection with private jet ownership.
The exchange began when a fan asked Tunde Ednut during an interaction when he planned to purchase a private jet like his close friend, Davido.
In response, Tunde replied: “I will buy private jet after Wizkid buys one. After Wizkid, by God’s grace.”

His statement quickly circulated on social media, drawing mixed reactions from fans. While some viewed it as harmless banter, others interpreted it as another attempt to mock the Grammy-winning singer.
This is not the first time Tunde Ednut and Wizkid have been linked in controversial exchanges.
In 2021, Tunde stirred backlash after referring to Wizkid as his “younger brother” while praising him for a performance.
Wizkid, in turn, once suggested that Tunde “needed deliverance” while stressing that he does not insult persons living with disabilities.
The latest development comes shortly after Davido’s father, Dr. Deji Adeleke, acquired a third private jet, adding to the family’s display of wealth barely a year after purchasing a $75 million aircraft.
