Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has shared her updated HIV test result, using the opportunity to encourage the public to know their status and fight stigma around the virus.
Posting on her Instagram page , Amusa confirmed her result remains negative.
She wrote: ““TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN UPDATED RESULT DATED – 15th SEPTEMBER 2025
I still feel the need to encourage individuals to get tested and to know their HIV status, It is better to know your status, so you can guide yourself and save others too.
You don’t have to die before death comes

She also highlighted the importance of testing for early treatment, preventing transmission, and protecting loved ones.
The actress also revealed in a previous post that she had forgiven a popular TikToker who had reported wrongly that she was HIV positive.
She had earlier been in the news after filing a petition against him over the false claim. The content creator, Olaoluwa Segun, was later detained, but Amusa eventually forgave him, citing compassion after meeting his family and learning about his personal struggles.
Amusa first spoke openly about her HIV status in 2019 when she posted her test result to encourage fans to get tested.
