The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the creation of a new youth-focused initiative, the Office of SAPA(Special Assistant on Propaganda Affairs) as part of preparations for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.
The announcement was made under the leadership of the APC National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel who revealed that the party will appoint Special Assistants on Propaganda Affairs across Nigeria’s six geo-political zones.
In addition, a Positive Propaganda Unit will be established at The Youth House to drive messaging and youth mobilization.
According to the statement, scouting and identification of “brilliant young minds” has already begun. The APC Youth Wing is calling on Nigerian youths with creative skills, communication abilities, and passion for progressive ideals to apply for the positions.
Applicants are required to send their profiles, cover letters, and either a short video or write-up showcasing their talents The deadline for applications is Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
Clarifying the intent of the new initiative, the APC Youth Wing explained that its version of SAPA is not about financial hardship, but rather a network of “visionaries and creatives with noble intentions” to strengthen national unity, promote positive lifestyles, and showcase the achievements of the Tinubu administration.
His post reads:

When queried further on the meaning of the initiative, he wrote:
“But our own “SAPA” won’t have sapa…. They are visionaries, creatives with skills and noble intention to improve our Nation. They are people ready to use their skills to promote positive messages and lifestyles, unity, solidarity, the good effort of the President Tinubu administration and harmony among young people.
