Renowned comedian Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, popularly known as Ali Baba, has reportedly been evicted from his multi-million naira mansion in Victoria Island, Lagos.
According to report, bailiffs of the Federal High Court executed a writ of possession on August 15, 2025, leading to the eviction of Ali Baba and his company, XQZMOI TV, from the residence located at 324A Akin Ogunlewe Street.
The property, reportedly acquired by the comedian in 2021 from the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) for ₦220 million, is now at the center of a heated legal dispute, Dockaysworld gathered.
AMCON claimed that the mansion was part of assets seized to recover debts allegedly owed by Harold Expansion Industries Nigeria Limited.
However, the company challenged the move, arguing that it had already repaid its obligations. Its counsel, Benjamin Olayiwola Sadibo, maintained that the property was wrongfully sold.
As of the time of filing this report, Ali Baba and his management team have not issued any official statement regarding the development.
