Anti-graft agency launches fresh investigation against Ganduje

The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has reopened an investigation into how over ₦4 billion of state funds were allegedly diverted during the tenure of former governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

The money was reportedly linked to the Dala Inland Dry Port project, where the state’s equity was said to have been transferred to Ganduje’s family.

PCACC Chairman, Saidu Yahya, confirmed the development, saying:
“Yes, we received petitions from the public on the alleged over N4bn Kano State fund diverted into the Dala Inland Dry Port by the immediate past administration of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.”

He said some suspects had been questioned, one arrested and released on bail, and that the case would soon be charged to court.
