Author of ‘The Bottled Leopard’ novel , Prof Chukwuemeka Ike is dead

Nigerians legendary novelist, Prof Chukwuemeka Ike, The author of The Bottled Leopard novel is dead.

The legend who was Born on 28th April 1931 has reportedly died at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, following a brief illness.

The legend was most famous for his novel, the Bottled leopard.

The death of the 89 years old legend has attracted numerous comments and reactions.

Reacting to the death of the legend , Atiku in a post, expressed sadness over the death of the Professor.

He tweeted :

“I mourn one of Nigeria’s prolific novelist and traditional ruler of Ndikelionwu in Anambra State, HRH (Prof) Chukwuemeka Ike, (the Ikelionwu IX).

“He will be remembered for his classics: Toads for Supper & Sunset at Dawn, among others. May he rest in peace.”

He was of the Aro dynasty.
