Popular relationship therapist and social media personality, Blessing Okoro, better known as Blessing CEO, has called off her wedding to businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD.
The media personality made the announcement in a video shared on her social media page, where she and IVD were seen shaking hands and parting ways amicably.
In the caption, she wrote:
“Public Service announcement. Officially ending the content creation between us. Thanks for the love and engagement. Back to my controversy, love is not for me. Officially selling the ring or giving it out. Thanks for all your support. Na to cover the tattoo for my neck with flower.”
Blessing CEO and IVD’s relationship engagement became public some months ago after long term speculations about the two being in a relationship.
Blessing had come in the picture as she defended IVD vehemently shortly after the death of his wife, Bimbo, which stirred significant controversy.
The pair later confirmed their relationship and got engaged earlier this year, frequently posting affectionate videos and photos online.
Blessing calling off the wedding and ending the relationship seems to have been predicted by many as the two haven’t been seen together for over a month since their trip together to Qatar was cancelled due to the arrrest of IVD over continuous suspicion of being involved in his late wife’s death.
Blessing had gone on the trip alone which caused speculations that she didn’t show solidarity with her fiancé. Her announcement has now ended the matter with concrete confirmation of their breakup.
