Boko Haram abduct 2 policemen, 4 soldiers in Borno days after killing 3 SARS operatives

Notorious insurgents Boko Haram, have reportedly kidnapped 2 policemen and 4 soldiers just 5 days after murdering 3 members of Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).

The victims had been killed after a gun battle between the security operatives and insurgents at Kundori village in Konduga local government area of Borno And the kidnapped operatives were taken along Damaturu-Maiduguri road.

According to TheCable, military sources confirmed that the abduction took place after the insurgents attacked the security officers in an ambush near Auno village on Damaturu-Maiduguri road.

The terrorists had been disguised as soldiers who set up a roadblocks subsequently ambushing the unsuspecting operatives.

Another source said;

“Four military men were abducted in an 18 seater bus while two other policemen were abducted in a Gulf car,”
