Popular Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold has advised Nigerians that the common term ‘boys will be boys’ is a bad parenting method.
The singer who got married about a year ago made this known via a tweet to varying reactions.
He urged fans and followers to unlearn the old ways that had been ingrained in them as children and find better ways to raise their kids.

He impressed on them that people had a responsibility to raise their children properly instead of letting them get away with bad behavior.
He tweeted:
“”Boys will be boys” is a lazy parenting strategy. If you have a child, you have a responsibility to raise them properly.” Nah, I find some replies to that tweet very hilarious. Again, please unlearn those shit stereotypes and ensure to raise great children. Do it for this already crazy world.
