Reports understands that Super eagle Striker Odion Ighalo, is considering reversing his decision to retire from the Super eagles of Nigeria.
This comes in less than 24hours after Ighalo took to instagram to announce his retirement from the national team.
“This is one of the most difficult career decisions I have had to take. It’s been an amazing 5 years journey, but after due consultation and extensive discussion with my family I have decided it’s time for me to retire from the national team,” Ighalo wrote on Instagram.
However, Sources Close to the player understands that Ighalo had a meeting with the Nff president.
“The (NFF) president spoke to me and asked me to reconsider. Out of respect for him, I said I would think about it.
Reports Additionally understand that Ighalo decided to quit the Super eagles due to pressure on his family.
But he might now continue his incredible journey with the Super eagles.
