Bruno Fernandes’ proposed move to Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon has reportedly been delayed because the
Portuguese club are not satisfied with the payment scheme United are offering.
The deal suggested by United is said to include bonuses to Sporting if they win the Premier League or the Champions League while Fernandes is there, plus an additional payment if he ever wins the Ballon d’Or.
But Sporting believe these three things are all unlikely to happen, and therefore would prefer to receive more money up front.
