Comedian Kevin Hart battling for his life as he suffers serious back injuries from car accident [photos]

American Comedian Kevin Hart, and two others have narrowly escaped death after they were involved in a ghastly motor accident that left Kevin with major back injuries.

The accident occurred on Malibu’s Mulholland Highway, early Sunday morning in California. 

Jared Black, who is a friend of the comedian, was behind the wheel of his cars – a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda – which was a birthday gift for himself. 

He had lost control of the car and veered off the road, landing into a ditch.

According to TMZ, the car crashed through a wooden fence and the roof was crushed on impact. Black and the third passenger, Rebecca Broxterman were originally trapped inside.

It was ascertained by the police that Black was not drunk while driving and both himself and Kevin suffered back injuries while Broxterman was uninjured. They were all rushed to the nearest hospital.
