The Dangote Refinery has announced a nationwide reduction in the pump price of petrol, bringing some relief to Nigerians.
This was shared through an update posted on the company’s official X account on Thursday, detailing the new prices across various regions in the country.
According to the refinery, petrol will now be sold at different rates depending on the location and fuel station.
MRS Holdings outlets will sell at N875 in Lagos, N885 in the South-West, N895 in the North-West and Central parts of the country, and N905 in both the North-East and South-South regions.
Other stations such as Ardova Petroleum (AP), Heyden, Optima Energy, Techno Oil, and Hyde will follow a similar pricing structure, with N875 per litre in Lagos, N885 in the South-West, N895 in the North-West and Central, and N905 in the South-East, North-East, and South-South.
The refinery urged customers to report any filling station that does not comply with these new prices.
A hotline has been made available for complaints and feedback.
