Davido lashes out after being mistaken for American singer

Ace Nigerian musician David Adeleke AKA Davido has vigorously reacted after being referred to as an American singer by a foreign publication.

David who recently attended his brother Adewale Adeleke and Kani’s wedding in Dubai had hung out with a host of notable personalities while he was there.

He had partied with popular Nigerian Dubai-based big boy Ray Hushpuppi, Chelsea football club striker Tammy Abraham and others. 

Mail Online Sport, a UK publication had referred to Davido as an American singer who Tammy Abraham had hung out with causing the Singer to set the record straight.

He went on his Instagram stories and stated explicitly that he was a Nigerian and not American. 

David who has dual citizenship as a Nigerian and American seems to prefer his African side more.
