Award winning Nigerian musician David Adeleke aka Davido, has reportedly paid the bride price of his wife Chioma Rowland at her hometown in Ezeala, Imo state.
Photos have begun to circulate online of the singer’s payment which involved some family members on the couple’s behalf.
The payment was made to community elders at Nkworji Ezeala ofu Nkwerre Local government area in Imo State.
The photos show Chioma’s dad amongst other traditional leaders performing the traditional, Umunna and Umuada rites.
Tubers of yam, crates of soft drinks among others were some of the items that had been captured in photos shared online.
Davido and Chioma absent from the small ceremony.
The duo were rumored to have gotten married during their months of seclusion following son Ifeanyi’s death.
