Tensions arose during the meeting when delegates from Jigawa State protested the selection of their representative, leading to a brief disruption.
Security personnel intervened to restore order, and eventually, Mustapha Lamido, son of former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido, was chosen to speak for the state.
Sources indicate that the coalition leaders criticized the Tinubu administration for exacerbating poverty and insecurity, particularly in the northern regions.
They spoke on the necessity for northern unity and support for an alternative government.
Four committees were established to address the discussed issues, with a communiqué expected to be released the following day.
