Dr Victor Ejong Aggrey, a colonel in the Nigerian Army, has become the only consultant neurosurgeon currently serving in the force, Dockaysworld reports.
Dr. Aggrey, who trained at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), has served as a Specialist Registrar in Neurosurgery there for about six years before becoming a full consultant.
The feat is particularly noteworthy as neurosurgeons are highly sought after and rare in Nigeria.
