Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has passed away in London, Dockaysworld reports.
According to a statement released by his family on Saturday, July 13, 2025, the former president died in a clinic in the United Kingdom.
The announcement, signed by his former spokesperson Garba Shehu, described his death as a great loss and prayed for his soul to find rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
Buhari, who served as Nigeria’s president from 2015 to 2023, was a retired Major General and former military Head of State.
He was known for his anti-corruption stance and efforts to combat insurgency during his time in office.
Recall Dockaysworld had reported the former president was hospitalized in critical condition, but family sources had dismissed the reports claiming it was for a routine health check.
He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
