Exclusive: Man Utd ‘increase Bruno Fernandes offer’ in bid to complete transfer before deadline

Premier league giants Manchester United, have reportedly launched an improved offer for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes after an
initial bid was rejected.

According to reports, United where hopeful of getting a deal done before the end of the January transfer window but two clubs have so far been apart in their transfer valuations.

An initial offer of around £42.5m was made for the Portugal international, plus bonuses, but Sporting rejected the bid.

The Portuguese club are demanding £50m up front from the Red Devils but United hope their latest offer can tempt Sporting into doing business.

United have now submitted a new bid for Fernandes on Saturday, worth £46.4m, including performance-related
bonuses, and there is a growing believe a deal can be agreed before deadline day.
