Fail to comply and have your self to blame – FUTA bans use of Phones, Earpiece on campus

The Federal University Of Technology, Akure(FUTA) has banned the use of phones, ear piece and other telecommunication devices on campus walkways and roads.

The University via a statement, warned about addictive users of such gadgets who usually had no sense of what was going on in their environment when making use of the devices.

They made it clear that such persons were not only a danger to themselves but also a danger to those around them as they could fall into ditches or get hit by vehicles.

Therefore, the University made it clear that students were prohibited from making use of the devices around campus, otherwise they would have themselves to blame.

Meanwhile, there was pandemonium in the University of Benin as the student parliament suspended members of the Student Union Government including the President for gross misconduct.
