Several fans of Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez have died in a fatal accident while returning from his concert held on Saturday night at TBS, Lagos Island.
Eyewitnesses reported that the crash, which occurred on Third Mainland Bridge, involved more than four vehicles. The victims were said to have engaged in dangerous driving while leaving the concert venue.
A social media user, @alli_ya7, who shared a video of the accident on X, stated that the fans were allegedly racing on the highway before the crash occurred.
“They left the show and started racing on the express, trying to overtake other cars. Why race on the highway? May their souls rest in peace. SPEED KILLS,” she wrote.
The incident has attracted widespread attention online, sparking discussions on the dangers of reckless driving and the need for stronger road safety awareness among Nigerian youths.
