The first Secretary to the Kwara State Government Chief Joseph Adeniyi Aderibigbe, has passed away.
According to his son, Barrister Debo Aderibigbe, the former Head of Service died at the age of 104.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the elder statesman and extended condolences to his family, friends, and the entire Erin-Ile community.
He described Aderibigbe’s death as the end of an era that reflected dedication, loyalty, and a strong commitment to the growth of the state since its early years.
Governor AbdulRazaq said Aderibigbe would always be remembered for his outstanding record in public service and the legacy of leadership he left behind.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul and for comfort to be granted to his loved ones.
