The visit follows Fubara’s earlier call for Rivers State residents and Nigerians to recognize President Tinubu’s quick action in preventing unrest linked to ongoing political tensions in the state.

Fubara made these remarks during a gathering with leaders of the Simplified Movement in Port Harcourt, marking two years since he assumed office.

During the meeting, Fubara expressed his strong desire to return to the Government House.

He revealed that efforts to reactivate the state’s executive and legislative bodies have already begun.

He also promised that democracy and effective governance would soon be restored, with both branches of government collaborating to serve the people’s interests.

Fubara explained that the political turmoil had disrupted plans to celebrate his administration’s achievements during the anniversary event.

Despite the challenges, he assured that his government would come back more united and focused on delivering better services to the people of Rivers State.
