Bettie Jennifer, the wife of Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh, has reportedly been shot dead in Maryland, United States, few days after the actor deleted all her photos on his Instagram page.
Bettie was reportedly shot in the head by a man armed with a handgun after he trailed her to her car on Friday evening around 5pm. She was pronounced dead upon police arrival.
According to eyewitnesses, Chris Attoh’s wife who was shot dead, tried running but was closely followed by the gunman who shot at her multiple times with at least one shot hitting her.
The murder suspect who fled in a vehicle and is still wanted by the Maryland Police, is said to be “a black male with a think build and black hair, wearing a dark shirt and pants.”
Chris Attoh and Bettie Jenifer married at a ceremony in Accra October 2018. This was shortly after divorcing his first wife, Nigerian actor DamiloIa Adegbite, with whom he has a son.
