Unidentified assailants riding motorbikes shot and killed Hon. Yayough Aondoakaa, the former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman of Tarka Local Government Area, Benue State.
The attack unfolded at Wannune Market, where eyewitnesses reported the gunmen inquiring about Aondoakaa’s whereabouts before summarily executing him at close range .
The killing has jolted the community, stirring fear and confusion among residents who witnessed the incident .
