Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke, has spoken out about how actors are not paid in proportion of profits in that movies make in the industry.
He said that it didn’t make sense that an actor was paid once and further profits were not shared to them as he said actors are collaborators and not just hired workers.
He also spoke about how there was no negotiation of prices for actors as producers would give a fixed price without a chance to talk.

When next you see Me perform in Film, Theatre or TV, I challenge you to pay Maximum RESPECT to whoever it is I chose to bubble with. That’s because they came Correct. The kind of ACTOR I AM, fear or shame are NOT the indices I work with.
