How Davido got broke after paying $15M for song promotion in US – Kemi olunloyo reveals [video]

Nigerian journalist and blogger Kemi Olunloyo, has alleged that Davido is now broke after spending over 15 million dollars($15M) on song promotion in the United States. 

She said this while reacting to a viral video of Davido riding in a Uber. She claimed he was unable to afford a private car after the extravagant spending.

In the video, the Uber driver could be seen visibly shocked to have carried Davido in his car. He hurriedly took pictures and called his family to tell them Davido was in his car which Kemi claims was because he had spent all his money on various radio stations in the US. 

She wrote: 

“Davido paid $15M to many US urban radio stations to play his songs on a 60 day media tour. This act is called #Payola. Ur songs are pushed so hard to land u on the charts. Regular artists don’t have to pay for radio play. He’s so broke now he took a Uber from the airport home.”
