A man on twitter has taken to the platform to narrate how a friend of his was allegedly harassed by members of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, and obtained of N150k.
According to him, his friend had been stopped by the officers who went through his phone but were unable to find anything incriminating.
They had then found a chat of him making a joke about money rituals and demanded N5 million from him before later accepting N150k.

He wrote:
So SARS assaulted my friend and still illegally forced him to send 150k to them this afternoon.
Why? Because he cracked a joke with a friend on WhatsApp about Money Ritual.
The SARS officers read his chats & tagged him a ritualist coz they couldn’t find anything incriminating.
They searched for “Wire Wire, Client, Dollars and so many other shits in his chats” but couldn’t find any result, so they decided to scroll through his recent chat with me & saw where he cracked a joke abt money ritual.
It’s really sick that things get worse daily in this place.
They also checked his account balance, saw that he has almost 200k in his account and collected 150k, they even first asked him to send them 5 million since he’s a ritualist.
