Senator Ned Nwoko has emphasized the need for polygamy in society, expressing sympathy for men who have only one wife.
The senator representing Delta North made the remark during an interview on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics with Seun Okinbaloye.
Although the discussion mainly focused on his ongoing push to create a new state called “Anioma” in the South East, it briefly touched on his personal life.
When asked how he manages multiple wives, Nwoko gave an analogy, saying standing on multiple legs is better than one.
He also denied allegations of domestic abuse in any of his marriages. Recall that Dockaysworld had earlier reported his denial of claims that he assaulted his wife, Regina Daniels, following her allegations against him.
The interview came just hours after Regina purchased a new house in Lagos, amid reports of a lingering rift between the couple.
