Senator Dino Melaye, has called out President Muhammadu Buhari for his order to send a convoy to South Africa over the recent xenophobic attacks.

The Senator argued that the President always took the slightest opportunity to leave the country to ‘chill’ under the guise of medical check ups.

He enjoined the president to go himself as he was once a general and ought to lead the charge.

This is coming after Buhari sent a delegation to the South African government to ensure they were doing their best to deal with the situation.

Melaye tweeted:

If it’s to travel out to chill in the name of medical check up, you will be number one. Time to grow balls and head out to address important matters affecting your people, you want to send envoy. Were you not once a General ???Take the lead for once!!!
