Popular Nigerian street hop musician Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable, has preemptively begged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to pardon him over Naira abuses if footage of him doing so surfaces.
The singer while speaking on Instagram live, said that the Government was supreme right after God and deserved respect.
He made a case for himself and how money was important in his line of business, hence the need to make displays.
Portable’s plea comes on the heels of other celebrities getting targeted over spraying and abuse of the naira.
Actress Simi Gold was sentenced to 6 months last year with an option of fine while crossdresser Bobrisky who was similarly convicted was not given the option of a fine.
The latest celebrity to fall in the EFCC’s net is celebrity bar man, Cubana Chief Priest who is set to be arraigned today.
