INEC has clarified claims that it had refused to issue the LP's Athan Achonu the certified true copies of the election documents, saying that it is assembling all documents to assess the cost so that payment could be made
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has clarified claims making rounds that it denied the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate, Athan Achonu access to true copies of the November 11 gubernatorial election in Imo state.
The commission disclosed this through its official X (formerly Twitter) handle earlier today.
INEC revealed that it is assembling all the documents to assess the payment cost.
Dockaysworld recalls that Achonu had accused INEC of refusing to issue his party the certified true copies of the election documents.
