INEC to feed police officers with N6bn during 2019 election

The Independent National Electoral Commission,(INEC), has proposed a N6 billion budget for feeding of police men during the and general maintenance during the 2019 general elections.

INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, disclosed this today while defending the budget before the House of Representatives committee on electoral matters.

He is currently been tackled by lawmakers over his proposed budget.

The meeting is still in progress.
