Nigerian Gay rights activist Bisi Alimi has reacted to the arrest of the CEO of Invictus Group, Obinwanne Okeke by America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for fraud.

Okeke, who was listed among Forbes 100 Most Influential Young Africans 2018, was arrested by the FBI over $12m fraud.

He was nabbed by the agency for conspiracy to commit computer fraud.

Bisi who has joined a host of Nigerians I’m commenting on the issue said that the common mantra repeated by rich successful Nigerians which is ‘Its by God’s grace’ actually meant that fraud was the key to their success.

He said that those who refused to share their secrets were into illegal activities behind closed doors.

He wrote:

Nigerians have this stupid fraudulent act of saying “it’s by God’s grace” when you ask them the secrets of their success.
Well it is now very clear thanks to Obinwenne Okeke that god’s grace is another word for 419.
There is nothing like god’s grace, stop deceiving people. It is either you have made it through hard work, connections or family wealth, and you have a right to share your secret or not to share your secret.
Saying it is the grace of god is a fraud and you are nothing but 419! Simple!
