I’ve sent Regina’s mom ₦125M in 2 years, sponsored her siblings through school – Ned Nwoko shares video evidence against wife’s brother

Billionaire businessman and politician, Senator Ned Nwoko, has shared a lengthy explanation of events in his marriage to Regina Daniels, detailing allegations of harassment by her family, her struggles with drug addiction, and the substantial financial support he has provided to her and her relatives over the years, amongst other issues.

In the statement shared alongside videos on Saturday, Nwoko said the they show Sammy “repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff, especially whenever I was not around. His visits were often aggressive and disruptive.”

The Delta North senator explained that despite Sammy’s conduct, he had supported him for years, sponsoring his education and providing him with accommodation and other financial assistance.

“This is someone I sponsored through his last two years at the University of Ekpoma. I bought his musical instruments, rented and furnished a flat for him in Abuja, in addition to the house I bought for Regina in Asaba before our marriage for the use of all of them,” he said.

Nwoko added that he also routinely provided allowances to members of Regina’s family, including her mother, Rita Daniels, claiming to have transferred 125 million naira to her over the last two years.

He further revealed that Regina was undergoing rehabilitation for substance dependence after he observed troubling changes in her behavior.

“The therapy was arranged after I noticed troubling changes in her behavior linked to her dependence on certain illegal substances, including going for 48 hours without sleeping and eating every two hours,” he said.

According to Nwoko, the rehabilitation process was constantly sabotaged by some of Regina’s siblings and friends, including Sammy, Destiny, Sonia Uche, and Montana, who allegedly brought her drugs against medical advice.

“Instead of helping her recover, they encouraged her addiction and completely frustrated the efforts of the doctors and therapists working with her,” he added.

He also claimed that Sammy and his associates were the first to introduce Regina to drugs and were users themselves.

“I do not drink alcohol nor smoke. In fact, I am a vegetarian. So I found these characters and behaviors reprehensible and totally unacceptable,” he said.

Describing one incident, Nwoko said Regina returned home around 9 a.m. after staying out all night. When questioned, she told him she was at a nightclub and dismissed his concerns.

“She casually said she was at a nightclub. When I asked why she ignored my calls, her response was, ‘You are not my father, so don’t ask me where I was,’” he said.

Nwoko alleged that Regina was with a woman named Cassie, whom he described as “the chemist and supplier of the group.”

He claimed Cassie’s presence made Regina’s therapy “a joke.” He also recounted another instance where Regina failed to return home until 5 p.m.

the following day after attending a dinner with friends on their children’s birthday.

“I took so much nonsense just for the sake of the kids. I also knew that drugs had a lot to do with it,” he said, adding that Regina often justified her substance use as part of a “celebrity lifestyle.”

“Imagine the pain of a husband trying to help his wife recover, only to have the process sabotaged by her siblings and friends, the very people who should have been supporting her healing,” he lamented.

According to Nwoko, the household lived in constant tension due to their frequent interference and disregard for boundaries. He also addressed the recent viral video that showed a confrontation at his residence.

Recall Dockaysworld reported Regina Daniel’s allegations at the scene wherein she stated that Senator Ned Nwoko had been beating her

“It will be interesting to know her reasons for the violent behavior in the house the day that Sammy and other siblings came and attacked my staff and security, taking Regina away after doing a video which they posted the next day. Everything that happened that day was in my house, in my absence. Nobody was beaten. It is blatantly false to say that I sent thugs to beat Regina in another house,” he stated.

He described the viral video as “a pure Nollywood scenario” filmed by Regina’s sister and her friend in front of his property while he was away.

Nwoko also advised Sammy to focus on his own life and career, revealing that he once offered to sponsor him abroad for further studies but the offer was declined.

“Sammy should have a life of his own outside of Regina and pursue his career. When his brother Lawrence went to London a couple of years ago to do his master’s, I also offered the same opportunity to Sammy, but he declined and insisted he wanted to stay in Nigeria and pursue his career in music,” he said.

The lawmaker added that Sammy has previously been arrested by the police and the EFCC, noting that “he needs a total rehab; otherwise, his violent behavior will continue.”

Nwoko’s revelations come amid Sammy West’s continued detention allegedly at the hands of the senator himself who is accused of instituting legal proceedings so as to get his wife to return to rehab.

Regina has since stated that she will return for the sake of her brother while the senator has called off the planned arrest of her mother as well.
